7. ASSEMBLY AND OPERATION
BEFORE INITIAL START-UP
ATTENTION!
Use the compressor only in dry, well-ventilated areas. Before starting the compressor in
an enclosed room, make sure that there is no excess dust, sawdust, acids, noxious
fumes, explosives, flammables, and other hazardous substances.
Make sure that all parts and components of the compressor are free from damage and
firmly installed in place.
For safe operation, make sure that the mains voltage value matches that indicated on the
compressor name-plate.
Avoid using extension cables that are too long.
Before use, place the compressor on firm, level surface.
Before commissioning, the unit and all its elements must be fully assembled.
INSTALLATION OF CONTROLS
Check that the package contains all the components and proceed to assemble them.
A) To attach the castor wheel, thread the axle bolt (5) through the centre hole of the wheel
and place it in the corresponding opening in the strut on the compressor body. Then
install the nut from the inside and tighten the connection firmly.
B) Thread the appropriate bolt (6) through the centre hole in the damping foot (7) and nut
and tighten it carefully until firm connection is achieved between the damping foot and
the compressor vessel body.
C) Insert both lower ends of the handle (2) in the corresponding fixing holes on the
compressor and tighten them securely using the supplied bolts (3).
SAFETY VALVE
(Figure E)
The safety valve (
No.1
) ensures air pressure stability. If the air pressure exceeds 10 bar, the unit
will automatically release the excess pressure from the system to protect the operator.
ATTENTION!
Do not use the safety valve for the frequent, intentional discharge of air or to blow off
other objects. If activated too often, the valve may easily become damaged.
PRESSURE GAUGE
(Figure E)
During start-up, the air compressor is automatically checked and controlled by a pressure
switch. If the pressure reaches the maximum value, it shuts down automatically. Once the
pressure drops below the lower limit, it switches on automatically. The pressure switch operating
pressure is preset from the factory and cannot be changed arbitrarily. The pressure value can be
read from the pressure gauge (
No.2
).
