1.1 General information
Dear customer,
read all information contained in this manual carefully.
Keep these instructions in a safe place and pass them
on to any new owner. Mount the unit in the order of this
manual!

1.2 Safety instruction
ATTENTION!
This appliance can be used by children aged
from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience or
knowledge if they have been given super-
vision or instruction concerning the use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved. Children shall not play with
the appliance. Cleaning and user main-
tenance shall not be made by children without
supervision!
ATTENTION!
Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance!
ATTENTION!
All power supply circuits must be deactivated
before the connection terminals are
accessed.
ATTENTION!
On/Off switch must be situated so that it
cannot be touched by persons making use of
the bath or shower!
ATTENTION!
Not where ambient temperatures are likely to
exceed 50°C!
ATTENTION!
If installed in a kitchen fans must not be
mounted immediately above a cooker hob, or
eye level grill!
ATTENTION!
If installing in a room containing a fuel burning
device which has a non-balanced flue, it is the
installer's responsibility to ensure that there is
enough replacement air to prevent fumes
being drawn down the flue when the fan is
operating up to maximum extract. Refer to
Building Regulations for specific require-
ments!
ATTENTION!
Exhaust air must not be discharged into a flue
used for exhausting of fumes from appliances
supplied with energy other than electric.
Requirements of all authorities concerned
must be observed for exhaust air discharge
and intake flow rates!
ATTENTION!
Not suitable for use in possible chemical
corrosive atmospheres!
To ensure safe operation, the device may only be
installed and connected in accordance with these
installation and operating instruction.
The installation of this device must be carried out
by a competent electrician in accordance with the
current safety regulations.
The device is only suitable for installation inside a
closed room.
Check that the electrical rating shown inside the
back-plate matches your mains supply.
All power supply circuits must be deactivated be-
fore the connection terminals are accessed.
Repairs to the appliance, or any other interven-
tions, may only be performed by qualified persons
or the after-sales customer service.
In the event of any defect or during extended peri-
ods of non-use deactivate or remove fuse.
Damage due to incorrect operation, incorrect use
and failure to comply with safety regulations all lia-
bility and warranty will be void.
