Phaser 7300 Color Printer Service Manual

Back Plate Assembly w/Drive Gears (PL 5.2.11) and
Imaging Unit Motors (PL 5.2.13)

Remove the Printer Unit Chassis (see pg. 6-156).

Remove the 5

screws securing the Back Plate Assembly to the frame.

Disconnect the wiring harnesses from all four Imaging Unit Motors.

Lift the front of the Back Plate Assembly about 2 cm (3/4 in.) and carefully guide

the ribbon cable through the assembly as you lift it from the chassis to remove.

Imaging Unit Motors

Remove 2

screws securing the Imaging Unit Motor to the Back Plate Assembly.

Disconnect cable.

Remove the motor.
