Preparing the Infeed
Module for Threading

This section describes the web threading process for the highlighted section of the web
path.

1. Prepare the unwinder and any other external devices at the start of the Infeed Module.

Correctly align the physical position of the unwinder, turnbars, and finishing equipment
with the CiPress™. The unwinder should be powered on in the ready state, able to
feed paper as it is pulled through the web path.

2. Open the Infeed Module Front Door.

Note

The Primary CiPress™ is also known as the Upstream CiPress™ in a Tandem or Duplex
configuration. When mentioned, The Secondary
