5.4 Security
When security is activated (on) the Configuration options menu
will
not appear on the instrument screen. See following steps to
access the Configuration menu when Security is activated (on).
To set the security option:

NOTE: You must turn the instrument off and then back on for the to
activate the security option.
To gain access to the Configuration menu if Security is
enabled:

Remove the AC adapter and turn off the instrument with
the battery switch.
