RS232 setting
Should third party control be required, please see below for control
system configuration and hex code input. The RS232 connection
on the matrix is female QB9 Users can use a USB to RS232
cable or a direct male to female serial cable.

Com Port Setting
NET CTL - LAN Control
For control of the matrix over a network through an internet
service provider.
When NET CTL is first run on a PC, the text file ‘NETCTL.TXT’ will
be created to store backup matrix information such as the MAC
address of the matrix, the IP address and the matrix name etc.
Double click
NETCTL.exe
to run the software and search for a
device. Any new device detected will appear as an
IP address
,
while previously used devices will be
named
. Click
Read Device
to access.
Note:
If you want to change the device name,
right click
on the
device name or IP address and select
rename
from the drop box.
Rename and save.
Double click the matrix to access the system – provided you are
connected to the internet, a web browser will open up, prompting
a log in. Enter the default password
‘0000000000’
to log in to
network control and you will be directed to the matrix control
screen.
Alternatively, you can open a web browser and enter the IP
address to be directed to the matrix control screen.
Note:
your matrix IP address can also be obtained through the
touch screen by following:
Main menu Info navigate to the IP column.
As with COM CTL software control and remote control of the matrix

Reassigning IP Address
The appearance of the prompt ‘Assign IP’ suggests automatic IP
assignment has been unsuccessful so you will need to assign
manually.
Double click ‘
Assign IP
’ to open up the IP dialogue box and
reinput your IP address, Subnet, Gateway and Mac addresses if
need be. Click OK to confirm. Click
“Search”
and
“Read Device”
to prompt NETCTL to display the matrix correctly and allow access
to network control.
