PERIODIC MAINTENANCE:
The following scheduled maintenance and inspections will help to ensure trouble-free operation of
your Summit Powered Sit-to-Stand.
Not recommended for use in shower.
Do not pressure-wash the unit.
AFTER EVERY USE
• Plug in the Mains (plug in to wall outlet).
ONCE A MONTH
• Check for loose or missing nuts and bolts.
• Clean unit – wipe off dust.
ONCE A YEAR
• Perform load testing.
TWICE A YEAR
• Raise the lift arm to its max height and wipe
the cylinder rod of the actuators clean.
EVERY TWO YEARS
• Replace the battery.
NOTE:
On the upgraded control box (with a
display) reset the “Needs Service” indicator by
pressing the raise and lower buttons on the
handset simultaneously and hold for 5 seconds.
ELECTRONICS:
BATTERY CARE AND CAUTIONS:
Handle batteries carefully.
Load Test:
• Run the lift with specified load* all the
way up and down.
• Make sure the load is hanging straight
down from the lift hooks, so they don’t
bend.
• Run the base in and out with specified
load*.
• Listen for peculiar noises and vibrations
Test Load*: 225 KG / 500 LBS
