10 Special functions
This function is used to newly determine the reference
absorbance or transmission for a wavelength range.
The baseline is stored and is used as a new reference
value for the spectrum measurement.
Erasing the baseline
The baseline can be erased by
●
using the menu item, erase baseline
●
switching off the meter.

Select the measure baseline function from the
spectrum menu.
→
Insert the cell to start the measurement.
The message measuring... appears on the display.
After the measurement is finished: The baseline has been measured and stored.

Return to the spectrum menu using .

Select the measure spectrum function from the
spectrum menu.

EASURING THE SPECTRUM
. While the
message measuring... is displayed, Baseline: OK
appears in the upper display line to indicate that
the measurement is being conducted against a
new baseline.
The measured baseline remains valid for all
the following spectrum measurements in the
same wavelength range and with the same
cell type.
