Configuration

The configuration lays down the instrument's way of operation. Therefore, the configuration
program consists of submenus (see course diagram: folding in the appendix). The submenus have
a special order, so that in each following submenu those adjusting possibilities are no longer
offered which have been automatically fixed with the previous configuring or which can no longer
be assigned.

Important note:

The configuration should be made in an operable condition, i. e.:

l

The instrument has been connected to the mains.

l

The electrode has been connected, with 2 channel instruments also
the connection box for the second electrode including the electrode.

The change from the operation level "Measurement" to the configuration menu is made with the
DOWN and ENTER keys.

The display shows:

The "555" indication means:
The user has not input a code number (ex-factory condition).
(instrument-internal: Code number set to 000).
This is displayed when the configuration or parameterization
level is called up and when the user have not input a code
number of their own (parameterization: menu "PARA PASS").

When "555" is displayed the user can change to the
parameterization or configuration level by three times pressing
the

key (three times accepting the flashing "5").

If the user has set an own code number which is different from
000 in the parameterization level ("555" cannot be set!) this code
number must be input, digit after digit with the

keys

(setting) and the

key (acceptance)!

If a wrong code number has been input or with

access to

parameterization or configuration can only be made in the
reading mode, i. e. adjustments can be read but not altered.

Then the display shows:

With the

and

keys change to CONFIG and enter the

configuration level.
