WARNING
Keep the rear brake lever depressed to prevent the
scooter from moving. Avoid accelerating while the
unit is stationary, otherwise the clutch will engage.
NOTE
The scooter is equipped with an ignition switch on
the side stand. If the side stand is deployed, the en-
gine will not start.
Before starting
- Unhook the scooter from the centre stand, so that it
rests on both wheels on the ground.
- Turn the key (1) to its operating position “ON”.
- Do not accelerate (3).
- Press and hold the rear brake lever (2).
- Press the starter button (4).
- If the engine does not start after the starter motor
has been running for 3-5 seconds, open the throttle
(3) by turning the throttle grip 1/8-1/4 of the range
and start again.
