MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS > REMOVE AND INSTALL BATTERY

CAUTION

The battery can only be connected or disconnected

while the ignition is switched off.

- The key position must be set to “OFF “.
- Remove the two screws (1) and open the inspection

cover (2).
First disconnect the negative terminal (3, black ca-

ble).
Then disconnect the positive terminal (4, red cable).
- Disconnect the battery.
- Remove the battery.

Installation is carried out in reverse order to disas-

sembly.
When installing the battery, first connect the positive

terminal (4, red cable).
The battery does not require maintenance. Do not

attempt to open it under any circumstances.
