Corresponding operations 

1 

Manual shut-off valve be fully open (anti-clockwise direction). 

2 

Power on dental unit, and check pressure meter in junction box. Air pressure should 

be 483-551 kPa (70-80 lb / square inch). 

3 

At the same time, start lavage pipe. If air pressure declined by more than 103 kPa, 

(15 pounds / square inch), check if the filter has been jammed.    (see Figure 22). 

4 

If you have to adjust the air pressure, rotate pressure pre-regulator clockwise to 

increase the pressure; or anti-clockwise to reduce pressure.

Air pressure release valve is used for net  bottle, and the air pressure should be 

200kPa 

5.6.5.4 Gravity drainage outlet and exhaust port 

Gravity drainage outlet is connected to the indoor wastewater discharge system for processing 

dental unit wastewater and residue. 

 

5.6.6 Net Bottle 

The unit is equipped with a water cleaning system. 

Water used for handpieces and instrument tray comes from net bottle.   

Purified water or distilled water should be added when the bottle comes to empty. 

The way to add water as following: 

a. Turn off air cut-off valve 

b. Take off water bottle clockwise. 

c. when water was filled up, tighten the bottle, and open the air cut-off valve.
