5.6.5.1 Manual Air-cut Valve and Water-cut Valve
Cut valves are used to control the air and water flow to the dental unit. In order to avoid the
leakage, these valves should be kept wildly open (turn it on anti-clockwise direction); except
when the dental unit is under repair.
5.6.5.2 Air and Water Filter
Filter can keep solid matters from entering dental unit. If the water can not flow well when using
Spittoon Rinsing function, please check if the water filter has been jammed.
To check or replace filter elements, you need to switch the ball valve to closed position, then
rotate the filter cover, take out the filter element to clean or replace. While installing new filters,
please pay attention to the water inlet of that filter.
Caution: If the filters are installed inappropriately, the dental unit can not work normally.

5.6.5.3 Air Pressure Regulating
Pressure pre-regulator is located in the junction box. Before making any adjustments, you
should confirm the air compressor is turned on and maintain pressure of 551-689 kPa (80-100
pounds / square inch).
