Adjustment of cutting height
K
Only when mower is stationary and rotating blade
has come to complete standstill.
1. Press button (1).
2. push chassis downwards or pull upwards, as required.
3. Release button at required cutting height (2).
Selection of Cutting height
If possible, mow when grass is dry in order to protect turf.
Do not se cutting position too low when mowing very hight
or wet grass. We recommend an average cutting height of
4,0 cm - 5,0 cm.
Hanging the grass bag
J
Only when the motor is not running and the
cutting blade is not moving.
1. Lift the protective flap.
2. Hang the grass bag in the chassis with the hooks in the
recesses (see arrow).
3. Replace the protective flap.
Emptying of Grassbox
P
• the flap drops down when grassbox is full

cable at the socket-before proceeding.
Maintenance
Cleaning
Note: Disconnect electricity by unplugging cable
at the socket before proceeding. Attention: Keep
hands clear of moving blade.
Clean mower thoroughly after each mowing with cloth or
brush.
Do not spray with water.
Change of cutter blade
R
Always disconnect mains supply and wear
protective gloves before undertaking any work at
the cutter blades, cutter bar and blade coupling.
• Change of blades only be carried out by an approved service
station.
• Damaged blades should always be replaced in pairs to
ensure even balance.
Information for Service Centre, blade retaining screw to
be tightened to:
A/F 13 mm = 16-18 Nm
Winter Storage
• Clean mower thoroughly before storing away.
• Have your mower thoroughly checked once a year by an
approved Service Centre.
•
Do not store it in a wet or humid place.
Connecting to the mains
(230 Volts, A.C., 50 Hz)
The mower operates from any normal household mains
supply, provided with a 16 Amps. fuse.
Note:
Use a residual current device (RCD) rated for a
residual current not greater than 30 mA.
Starting and Stoping
M
N
• Deactivate transport safety mechanism (M, 1).
• Switch on motor with mowerplaced on level and firm ground
• not in high grass - alternatively tilt slightly (M).
Switch-on motor

Mowing
O
Due to the automatic cable roll-up system, you can mow in
all directions. Whether you mow towards the earth rod or
away from it, the cable automatically adjusts to the necessary
length.
Important
When turning, the cable bracket arm must always point in
the direction of the earth rod. The cable must not be behind
the mower. The cable should only be reeled out to the yellow
marking!
After mowing
L
Q
Unplug power cord.
Remove earth rod from the ground
and release cable from the strain relief assembly (L). Roll up
unrolled cable: To do this, rotate the lower cable drum half
clockwise (Q, 1) . Insert power plug into the storage area (Q,
2) and activate the transport safety mechanism (Q, 3).
Adjusting the clutch Bowden cable
N
S
1. Raise the drive bracket (N, 3) app. 2 cm and hold.
2. Loosen the locking nut (S, 1).
3. Turn the setscrew (S, 2) left until the drive wheels are
blocked when you pull the mower backwards.
4. Tighten locking nut (S, 1).
Assembly of the strain relief assembly with earth rod
L
O
To connect the cable of the machine to the power outlet, first
activate the transport safety mechanism*: Position „STOP“ (L, 1).
Then pull the required length of cable from the cable drum.
Insert the cable in the strain relief assembly (L, 2, 3, 4).
Guide the earth rod through the strain relief assembly and
then push it into the ground. Use a hammer if necessary.
Make sure that the cable distance between the power outlet
and the earth rod (O) is as short as possible. Excess unrolled
cable must be rolled up again. To do this, rotate the lower
drum half clockwise (L, 5).
*
Prevents the cable from accidental unrolling from the
cable drum.
Important
Never switch on the machine when loose cable in loops or
rings is lying on the lawn. Excess unrolled cable must be
rolled up again before switching on the machine. To do this,
rotate the lower drum half clockwise (L, 5).
