7.1.7 Special functions
Distributor monitoring
(Control C3 only)
If the pump unit has a progressive distributor with monitoring, then the functioning of the
progressive distributor can be monitored. The error report is given if no distributor signal has
been given after the time set in P21.
The distributor’s monitoring time is summed up via the delivery times, i. e. in
case of delivery times <
less than the time set in P21, the error message will
not be released in the first delivery cycle.
Voltage supply discontinuation results in a reset of the monitoring time
memory.

Stirring without delivery (drive 3A only):
When using grease as lubricant, it is recommended to stir the grease in longer off-duty times
between the pump unit’s delivery cycles in order to avoid grease separation. To this effect,
the GMG-B can optionally
(drive option 3A)
be fitted with a pure stirring function. When this
stirring function is switched on, a stirring process lasting one minute will be started after
lapse of an adjustable off-duty time. Here, the course of the stirring is independent from the
delivery settings. Should the stirring and delivery coincide, the stirring will be suppressed.
The off-duty time for the stirring can be set in whole hours only.

Extra delivery:
By means of the "extra delivery" function, you can initiate an extraordinary 60 seconds
lasting delivery process outside the normal program flow.
It will be started if you press [SELECT] for a while in the "ON" mode of operation.
Test:
By means of the "Test" function, you can initiate a test run of the pump unit. When the keys
[SAVE] and [MODE] are pressed in this order quickly one after the other, the pump unit’s test
mode is invoked (the keys must be kept depressed for half a second at least).
