Step #7: Connect the USB adapter (11) to the PC’s USB port.
Step #8: Set the battery jumper (nr. 9) to close the 2-pins of the connector. This will add battery
power for the device PCB. Then the modem will be starting its operation according to the
configured settings. The device will be available to configure through serial connection after 60-
70 seconds.
Step #9: Download the WM-I2 Term configuration software and configure the device by following
the steps of the Chapter 3.
Step #10: Connect the meter/sensor wire to the J11 connector’s terminal block (nr. 8 on the
figure) according to the pinout (check the Chapter 2.3). Pulse input is the pin nr. 8, etc.
Step #11: Configure the parameters of operation by usage of the WM-I2 Term software.
Step #12: After the successful configuration disconnect the USB adapter (11) from your computer
and disconnect the serial link wires (12) from the J4 connector (nr. 8).
