The safety of your range hood can only be guaranteed, when proper electrical grounding has
been established.
It is of the utmost importance to comply with and test this basic safety precaution. If in doubt,
always consult a qualified technician. The manufacturer/distributor cannot be held responsible for
damages that occur due to the lack of proper electrical grounding (for example electric shock).
Before installing the range hood, please verify that the electrical installations (voltage and
frequency) are in accordance with those stated on the rating plate of this product. These values
must correspond to avoid damages to the range hood. If in doubt, please consult a qualified
technician. Installation and repair must be conducted by a qualified technician. Installation and
repair conducted by unauthorised persons may result in personal or product injury and are not
covered by the warranty.
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced immediately by an authorized technician.
INSTALLATION
The minimum distance between the supporting surface for the cooking equipment on the hob and
the lowest part of the range hood must be not less than 40cm from electric cookers and 65cm
from gas or mixed cookers. If the instructions for installation for the gas hob specify a greater
distance, this must be adhered to.
In selection of mounting height, consider the height of the user. It needs to be possible to work
effortlessly by the hob and operate the hood optimal.
Make sure to choose those mounting screws and plugs that match the ceiling type on which the
hood is mounted.
The wall must be strong enough to carry the weight of the hood.
The hood may not be fastened to the wall using silicone.
After connection make sure that the light and motor work correctly.
Make sure that the plug is accessible after installation.
ATTENTION: The hood is installed according to the illustrations at the back of the manual.
OPERATION
Use the high suction speed in cases of concentrated kitchen vapours.
It is recommended that the cooker hood is switched on for 5 minutes prior to cooking
and left on during cooking and for another approx. 15 minutes after ended cooking.
