Automatic night power reduction
Assumptions for automatic power reduction at night:
Pumps installed in gas boilers with only a small water capacity must never be set to automatic
night power reduction:
If the heating system does not provide enough heat to the radiators, check whether the auto-
matic night reduction function is active. If necessary, deactivate automatic night reduction.
To ensure correct functioning of the night power reduction, the following assumptions must
be met:
1. The pump must be installed in the flow.
2. The heating system must be equipped with automatic flow temperature control.
Operation of automatic night power reduction
To switch on night power reduction press the button “
?
”. If the left highest LED with a
sun/moon symbol is lit, night power reduction has been activated and the pump automatically
switches from normal operation to night power reduction. The switch depends on the flow tem-
perature.
The pump automatically switches to automatic night power reduction if the flow temperature
drops by more than 15° -20° C within 1 hour.
When the flow temperature increases again by 3°C, the pump immediately returns to normal
operation.
To deactivate the night power reduction function, press the lower button “
?
?
” again.
