The house batteries are automatically charged
by the chassis alternator while the engine is
running.
NOTE: House batteries are AGM (Absorbed
Glass Mat). Because of their
construction, AGM batteries do not
require an addition of water to the cells.
HOUSE/COACH BATTERY
DISCONNECT SWITCH
(COACH BATT)
The House/Coach Battery Disconnect switch
lets you disconnect the house batteries from the
12-volt system of your motorhome during
storage periods to avoid battery drain by
electrical items that are hooked directly to the
house batteries, such as clock displays and radio
memories, etc.
Always leave this switch ON while using the
motorhome.
NOTE: Some electronic displays and memory
functions may need to be reset after
power has been reconnected.

BATTERY ACCESS
House/Coach Batteries
NOTE: Your house battery (batteries) are
“Absorbed Glass Mat” type, or AGM.
They are maintenance-free and do not
require checking or adding battery fluid.
The house/coach batteries are located within
the basement of the motorhome, which is
accessible beneath an access cover inside driver
and passenger side exterior doors.
•
Extend sliding tray (if equipped) inside the
driver and passenger side exterior doors.
•
Remove screws from Battery Access Cover.
•
Remove Battery Access Cover and set aside.
•
Reverse steps to reinstall Battery Access
Cover.
Chassis Batteries
The chassis batteries are located behind a rear
driver side exterior door.
