The Compressor: Inserting and removing the air hose
To make the CareCube System easy to use and transport, the compressor is designed to be
as small and light as possible. It is a rotation pump, which sucks in air in one end and pumps
it out at the other. This means that the compressor can both inflate and deflate the
cushion, simply by moving the air hose from one end to the other.
If the air hose is inserted in the mounting, marked with the
word “OUT” and a green dot, air is blown out and the
CareCube cushion is inflated.
If the air hose is inserted in the mounting, marked with the
word “IN” and a red dot, air is sucked in and the CareCube
cushion is deflated.
In order to insert the air hose in either mounting, the black
adaptor of the air hose is simply pushed into the mounting,
where it locks into place.
In order to remove the air hose from either mounting, the
black adaptor of the air hose is simply pulled outwards.
