Operating instructions
1.
The blower can be used at different spots: to free trees, brushes, hedges, flower beds, and
areas that are hard to clean, around buildings, walls, overhangs, fences, and screens.
2.
We recommend wearing a mask when operating the device in dusty areas.
3.
Keep a distance to the material to be blown that allows to easily control its direction of move-
ment. Never blow foreign bodies into the direction of bystanders, animals, foreign property (such
as cars).
4.
To steer the speed of the air flow, the device can be regulated to any speed from idle speed to
full speed. Experience with the device and visual judgement will allow you to determine the
required amount of air for the individual task.
5.
To reduce the sound level, limit the number of devices used at the same time.
6.
Check the equipment before use, especially the exhaust, the air inlets, and air filter.
7.
Use a rake or broom to loosen dirt before starting the blowing process. In dusty environments,
slightly dampen the surface.
8.
Save water by using the leaf blower instead of hoses for various lawn and garden applications.
These include areas such as gutters, view screens, patios, barbecues, porches, and gardens.
9.
Use the connection pipe with a nozzle so that the air flow can work close to the ground.
10.
Tidy the work area after using the leaf blower and other equipment. Put all garden debris into
appropriate rubbish bins, do not dispose of them in the wild.
Warning:
•
Always wear an authorised, shielded pair of safety glasses or a facial protection during operation
due to flying debris.
•
Do not use the leaf blower if other people or animals are nearby. Keep a safety distance of at
least 15 meters to them.
•
Before taking the leaf blower into operation, read the safety notes in the operating manual and
all regulations for the operation of the device thoroughly. These safety precautions and regula-
tions are for your own protection, for the protection of others, of animals, and of foreign property.
Operation
1.
Follow the instructions regarding “starting a cold motor.”

As soon as the device is running, place it on your back by putting your arms through the shoulder
straps, as if you would put a jacket on.
3.
When preparing to clean an area of debris, always position yourself so that you can influence
the direction of in which the debris is blown.
4.
The control lever and flexible pipe allow you to clear even areas that are hard to reach.
5.
The handle, throttle, cut-off, and on/off switch for the ignition
(B)
are all mounted in a rotary
handle which offers a variety of operating positions and comfort.
