4. Design and function
4.5 Connection of the test item
Only use original parts (see chapter 11 “Accessories”).
Above the electrical connections is located the mechanical pressure connection for the
connection of a test item. This is marked on the front of the calibrator with “Test Port”.

Connection of the test item
Mechanical and also electrical pressure measuring instruments can be connected. For
the connection of the electrical connections, see chapter 4.3 “Electrical connections to
the CPH7650”.

The instrument to be tested is inserted into the quick-release connector with knurled
nut and can be oriented.

A hand-tight fastening is sufficient for a secure sealing.

The O-ring seal on the test connection must be seated correctly and not worn. Replace
them if necessary.

It is important that any instrument that is to be connected is clean.

To prevent contamination by the test items, the use of a dirt trap is recommended!

The quick-release connector is fitted with a G 1/2 threaded insert as standard.

For short threads, a sealing insert may be required.
