4. Design and function
DANGER!
Danger to life caused by electric current
Upon contact with live parts, there is a direct danger to life.
▶
Only use the power supply unit from WIKA, supplied with the instrument!
▶
Charging using a defective or non-original power supply unit (e.g.
short-circuit from the mains voltage to the output voltage) can result in
life-threatening voltages at the instrument!
▶
Only use a battery charger that is fully functional or undamaged.
WARNING!
Physical injuries and damage to property and the environment
The temperature range over which the lithium-ion battery can be charged
is 0 ... 45 °C (32 ... 113 °F). Temperatures outside of the specifications lead,
during the charging process, to heating or damage to the rechargeable
battery.

Do not charge the lithium-ion battery outside this temperature range. In
addition, the performance of the lithium-ion battery can be affected and
the service life reduced.
4.3 Electrical connections to the CPH7650
Above the display are located the electrical connections for measuring the electrical
current and voltage signals (see following picture).
