Setting the Control Circuit Functions
Control inputs S1 and S2 serve for initiating the respective function groups. With FUNCTIONs 3 and 5 S2 serves for setting a sub-function (grey
background in Table 2). Control input S3 serves to define whether delay-release outputs are retriggerable (RETRIGGER) or not. In order to monitor
external contactors (FEEDBACK) that may be connected to outputs Q1 - Q4 (assignment see Table 2) the NC contacts of the respective contactors
must be connected in series with the associated control inputs (cf Table 3). Note: Control inputs S1 and S3 must always be connected.
Control input EN (ENABLE) serves for enabling all four outputs on the module (Q1 - Q4).

ENTER key for activating function blocks and control circuit functions
Set the required function block (rotary switches) and control circuit functions (external connection on S1 - S3).
Then switch on operating voltage while pressing the ENTER key. The FLT display flashes (max. 3 s).
Release the ENTER key during the FLT display flashing. If you press the enter key for longer than 3 seconds an error
is detected.
The selected function block and control circuit function are now saved and active.
Device Behaviour in Case of Error
If random or systematic system error are detected in the system or its control circuitry the device will shut down. All safety-relevant output circuits will
shut down and the FLT LED on the base module will light up. Additionally, the following minor errors are defined via LEDs I1 to I4 (LED FLT is off):
I1, I2 flash simultaneously: cross-circuit between I1 and I2
I3, I4 flash simultaneously: cross-circuit between I3 and I4
I1, I2 flash alternately: sequence error on I1, I2
I3, I4 flash alternately: sequence error on I3, I4
I1 or I2 flashes: synchronous time error. The input that flashes is the one that achieves good state too late
I3 or I4 flashes: synchronous time error. The input that flashes is the one that achieves good state too late
S1...S3 flashes: feedback circuit open
The user may be able to cancel the shutdown by rectifying an error (e.g. in the control circuitry).
