4.3.2.
Sw itching the Planer on and off
The planer is sw itched on/off at the protective motor
sw itch (see photo). It is sw itched on at the black
button and sw itched off again at the red one.
The red button serves also as overload protection
w hich means that it sw itches the planer off
automatically if the pressure onto the planer is too
high. In this case, release pressure and start again the
planer w ith the black button.
If the red control lamp lightens, the planer turns in the w rong direction. Change
absolutely the turning direction.
4.3.3.
Working with the Planer
For inserting and operating the planer, the
safety bolt for the planer support
must be
removed by turning it into direction of the arrow
and pulling it out. The supporting fork is hanging
dow nw ards now .
Insert the planer by means of a crane betw een
the clamping tools, the supporting forks are
hereby attached in the locking forks.
Now
necessarily
insert again the safety bolt
for the planer support and tighten it again by
turning and pressing in (w hen releasing the
safety bolt, the handle must sw ing donw ards;
otherw ise the bolt is not inserted correctly).
Alw ays plane in direction of the groove (knife).
The on/off sw itch of the planer is situated at the
planer plug.
For lifting-off the planer, remove the safety bolt
again and lift off the planer by means of a
crane.
