work area.

25)

Thoroughly clean the machine before changing types of workpieces. Combining wood and metal

dust can result in an explosion or fire.  Consult expert advice before drilling in work pieces made of
magnesium. The friction generated by the drill bit could the magnesium to ignite resulting in a very
intense fire that could cause severe burns to the operator and/or seriously damage the machine.

26)

Turn the ON/OFF switch on the machine to the off position and unplug the power cord from the

electrical receptacle when the drilling operations are finished. Thoroughly clean the area surrounding
the machine making it ready for the next use.

27)

Store the machine in a safe manner when not being used. The storage location must be dry and

lockable. This  prevents  the  machine  from  storage  damage,  and  from being  operated  by  untrained
persons.

28)

If  an  extension  cord is  required,  use  only  three-wire  extension  cords  that  have  three-prong

grounding-type  plugs  and  three-pole  receptacles  that  accept  the  power  tool’s  plug. Use only  an
approved extension cord suitable for the power input of this tool (see technical data). An undersized
cord will cause a drop in line voltage resulting in loss of power and overheating. When using a cord reel,
always unwind the cord completely. Fully unwind extension cords to avoid potential overheating.

GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS

This power tool should be grounded while in use to protect the operator from electric shock. The power
tool  is  equipped  with  a  three-core  cable  and  grounding  type  plug  to  fit  the  proper  grounding  type
receptacle. The green and yellow (or green) conductor in the cord is the grounding wire. Never connect
the green and yellow (or green) wire to a live terminal.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Be sure the supply is the same as the voltage and frequency given on the rating plate.
Remove the main plug from socket before carrying out any adjustment or servicing.
