Aerobic

 exercise is 

simply

 

defined

 as any sustained 

ac�vity

 

that

increases 

the

 

supply

 

of

 

oxygen

 to your muscles 

via

 

the

 

blood

 

pumped

by

 your 

hea

r

t.

 W

ith

 

regular

 

exercise,

 your 

cardiovascular

 system 

will

become

 

stronger

 and more 

efficient.

 Your 

recove

ry rate 

i.e.

 

the

taken

 

for

 your 

hea

rt to 

reach

 its normal 

res�ng

 

level,

 

will

 also

decrease. 
Ini�ally

 you may only
