Place swings in easily accessible and highly visible areas
Surface requirements
– A level, flat, hard surface – cement, wood, brick or patio blocks
Space needed
– Although when not in use
Whisper
GLIDE Swings require a minimum space of 7-ft x 8-ft,
additional space is needed for adequate and safe entry, use and exit. Space requirements also depend on location
of swing entry and exit, and your specific needs. If your swing is placed adjacent to walkways,
or access to all sides is not necessary, additional space requirements may be reduced.
Wheelchair Accessible Swing:
Ideal – 13-ft X 18-ft
Two Bench Swing:
