Long Drain
If the drain time exceeds the drain timeout (4 minutes) before reaching the
“Empty” level of the pressure sensor, the “Pump Filter” LED is turned on.
Possible Causes
• The control is in pause mode. Press
START
to continue the cycle. If water
drains out, the cycle will continue.
• Verify that the drain hose is not plugged or kinked.
• Make sure water is not frozen in the outlet hose or drain pump.
• Check the drain pump filter for foreign objects.
• Check electrical connections at the drain pump and ACU, and verify that the
pump is running.
• Check the electrical resistance of the drain pump.
• Check the ACU (see TEST #1: ACU Power Check, page 3-4).
• Too many suds during the wash cycle (also see F18 error).
• Check for Eco-Ball blockage.
• Check the air trap and hose connection to pressure sensor.
F04
Heating Time Too Long
If the water temperature does not reach at least 63°F (35°C) during the first 50
minutes of the heating step in the cycle, the cycle is finished without further
heating. This is a delayed error code. User is notified only after the 10th
occurrence.
Possible Causes
• Check the electrical resistance of the heater.
• Check wire harness connections to the heater, temperature sensor, and ACU.
• Check the electrical resistance of the temperature sensor (failure can occur
when temperature sensor resistance does not change with temperature).
See chart on page 3-14.
• Check the ACU (see TEST #1: ACU Power Check, page 3-4).
F05
Water Temperature Sensor Error
If the water temperature sensor value is out of range, the cycle will run without
heating. If the value is in range, but there is not a change in temperature sensor
value of +3.6°F (2°C) during heating detected, the cycle will continue without
additional heating. This is a delayed error code. User is notified only after the
10th occurrence.
Possible Causes
• Check the temperature sensor resistance.
• Check connections to the temperature sensor and ACU.

Blocked Drum/Motor Overload
The ACU is unable to move the motor or only with difficulty. There will be many
attempts to move the motor. The cycle will continue without motor movement
or with reduced motor movement. This error code is hidden from the consumer.
Possible Causes
• Check the wire harness and connections between the motor and ACU.
• Check the drum for mechanical friction (move the drum slowly and very
briefly).
• Check for trapped laundry.
• Check the resistance of the motor windings.
