Installing and starting up the transmitter
First, screw the antenna (5) in the winding on the transmitter body.
Select an appropriate installation place for the transmitter. This place should not be
near by the audio source. Do not position the transmitter next to TV sets, computer
monitors, PCs, fluorescent or electronic lamps or large metallic objects, because
the transmission signal could be affected and strains and range restrictions could
be aroused. Also avoid positioning the transmitter near by heaters or objects
strongly heating. This can cause instable receipt.
Connect the transmitter with the audio source. For that purpose, plug the end of the
jack plug cable (2) in the headset output jack of your audio source. Use the adapter
attached (12), if your audio source has a 6.3 mm output jack.
Now connect the circular plug of the power supply unit delivered (11) with the power
supply jack (1) of the transmitter and then plug the power supply in a socket. Make
sure that the voltage on the name plate of the power supply complies with the
power supply voltage of your local installation.
Turn on the transmitter with the On/Off switch (3).
Now turn on your audio source. Make sure that a signal is excited there (music,
voice etc.). First select a medium volume on your audio source, so that the signal is
not reproduced distortedly.
Now the operating indicator lights up (4).
Note!
The transmitter is only turned on with an audio signal. Without any signal, it is
turned off automatically after 1 minute. In this case it is possible, that noise in the
headset appears, because no signal is received. Therefore it is recommended to
turn off the transmitter and the headset with the On/Off switches (3, 10), if you don’t
use the system to save the batteries. If necessary, unplug the power supply to take
care of your purse and the environment.
Batteries do not belong in household
garbage.
For battery disposal, please check with your
local council.
