Using
The software of the weather station now automatically receives the appropriate
weather data for the selected city using an existing Internet connection. This data
is transmitted by the transmitter to the weather station. The weather forecast can
be read at the display of the weather station.
Any time you power up the PC, the software of the weather station will start
automatically. Data transfer is handled in the background.
Weather Station Display
You can read the following measuring and forecast values on the display of the
weather station:
The current weather forecast icon (1) indicates the weather forecast for the
current day. See the forecast icon table for reference (chapter “weather
forecast icons”).
Below that you can read the maximum temperature (
HI
) and the minimum
temperature (
LO
) (2) of the current day.
In the right sector of the display the current time (13), the current date (12), the
UV intensity (11), the current indoor temperature (
IN
) and the current outdoor
temperature (
OUT
) of the selected city appears (10).
In the lower part of the display you can read the weather forecast values for
the next four days. It displays the corresponding date, the weather icon, the
maximum temperature and the minimum temperature.
The DST icon (13a) on the upper right corner of the display is an indicator for
the daylight-saving time.
Operating the Weather Station
A keypad with 6 buttons is located at the back side of the weather station.
The current time and date do not have to be set by you manually. The software
loads these data via the internet and automatically sets up the weather station
accordingly.
Please read the following chapters for information on operation and adjustment of
all required functions.
