6. Cleaning and Maintenance
6.2 General Hints
The multimeter is a precision instrument and should be treated with
care. It is not allowed to alter or modify the interior circuitry.
Maintenance and repair work should only be undertaken by a
qualified professional!
Precise measurements are only possible if the unit is treated
carefully and kept in a good state of repair.
Spent batteries should be removed and replaced as soon as
possible. Leaking batteries may damage the electronic.
Cleaning
Only clean the housing with a soft, lightly moistened cloth.
Use only conventional detergents for cleaning.
Do not use aggressive chemicals or similar substances.
