General Safety Information
NOTE:
Lead-acid batteries generate explosive gases
during normal operation which can be ignited by a
spark. Work area should be properly ventilated.
It is important that you or
anyone else using this equipment, read,
understand and follow the instructions exactly.
Failure to do so may damage or risk or injury.
Shield eyes and face from battery at all times and
avoid touching eyes while working with or near a
battery.
In case of accidental contact,
rinse eyes with clean water for at least 5 minutes
and see a doctor immediately.
IMPORTANT:
Do not lay tester on battery.
Undercharged lead-acid batteries will freeze during
cold weather. Never test or charge a frozen battery.
To ensure a good connection, clean battery terminals
with a solution of water and baking soda.
