4.17. Assemble the Undercarriage

Ensure the wheels are mounted to the axle before beginning this procedure.

1. Fasten the lower reach arms (1) to the axle (2) using 7/16" x 1" bolts (3) and 7/16" locknuts (4). Refer to

Figure 29

and

Table 20

.

2. Attach long tubular cross member (5) to the lower reach arm bracket near the axle using two 7/16" x 1"

bolts (3) and 7/16" locknuts (4).

3. Attach short tubular cross member (6) to the opposite end of the lower reach arm bracket using two

1/2" x 1-1/4" bolts (7) and 1/2" locknuts (8).
