Intended Use
The air sand blaster is a tool driven by compressed air. It is designed
for versatile use. The air sand blaster is suitable for sandblasting of
iron, sheet metal, metal objects, etc.
The intended use also includes an operation following the operating
instructions.
Any use beyond these parameters (different media, applying force) or
any changes (reconstruction, no original accessory) can lead to serious
risks and is regarded as use that is contrary to the intended purpose.
Before first Use
Unpack the air sand blaster and the required accessory and check all
parts for any damage in transit. Dispose of packaging materials or store
them out of reach of children. Plastic bags etc. may become a deadly toy
for children.
Operation
1. Screw off the grinding material container (5) and fill it with suitable
grinding material. Then screw the filled container on again.
2. Put the collecting bag (6) from below over the opening at the front of
the device. Use the hook-and-loop fastener to attach it to the sand
blaster.
3. Depending on the surface to be treated resp. depending on the
operation purpose, attach the desired nozzle (8
– 11) on the nozzle (1).
The nozzle inserts vary in the shape of their front and in their blasting
characteristics.
The air sand blaster is equipped with a
plug nipple (4). Connect the air hose to
the compressor and to the plug nipple of
the air sand blaster. Power up the com-
pressor.
4. Firmly put the nozzle insert of the sand
blaster to the surface of the workpiece to
be processed to prevent the shot from
escaping.
