Assembly and Operation
2. The batteries are located in the head and secured by a
Plexiglas retainer. This retainer must be removed to replace
the batteries. Replace the batteries and pay attention to the
proper polarity when inserting new batteries into the housing.
3. Carefully reassemble the unit, be careful not to squeeze any
cables in the housing.
Troubleshooting
If the mole repeller does not function, it may be due to one of the
following reasons:
The batteries are not fully charged. Select a suitable location
with direct sunlight.
The solar module is dirty. Clean the solar module.
The batteries are loose or spent. Check the batteries for right
fit or replace the batteries.
The connection cable is not properly inserted into the socket.
Insert the cable into the socket.
Cleaning and Storing
Clean the plastic cover of the solar module from time to time.
Dirt on the plastic cover will decrease the performance and
cause longer charging times.
Use a soft, moist cloth to clean the unit. Aggressive chemicals
or solvents will damage the plastic cover.
The mole repeller is rain proof, but not waterproof. Please
remove it when watering the area or when flooding is
expected.
To avoid damages due to freezing, remove the mole repeller
over the winter.
