Assembly and Operation
Location for the Mole Repeller
ƒ The mole repeller constantly emits vibrations in all directions.
No buildings, heavy walls or similar should be in the path of
these vibrations. It is advisable to install two units no more
than 30 metres apart in infested areas.
ƒ Furthermore, place the repeller in an area where it is exposed
to direct sunlight as long as possible for best performance.
Before first Use
ƒ
The mole repeller contains two rechargeable 1.2V (AA)
600 mAh NiMH batteries.
ƒ Before first use, charge the batteries in direct sunlight or use a
suitable power converter (9 V , min. 30 mA). Charge the
batteries with the power converter for max. 12 hours! The
power converter is not included in delivery.
Assembly
The package contains a head with solar
module and build-in control unit and a
green aluminium pole with plastic point.
1. Connect the protruding cable to the
corresponding socket in the pole (2).
2. To attach the head to the pole, press
both buttons (6) on the sides and
slide the head over the end of the
pole. Make sure the buttons can lock
into the openings in the pole.
Setting the Pole
ƒ Depending on the soil the pole can be set with or without
drilling a pilot hole with a depth of 25 cm.
Be very careful when exerting pressure on the unit. Excessive
pressure may destroy the unit.
