Safety Notes
Please read this manual carefully and use the charger only according to
this manual.
Dispose of used packaging material carefully or store it out of the reach of
children. There is a danger of suffocation!
Do not use the charger if it or the cables have been damaged in any way.
Have it repaired by a qualified person.
The gasses present when charging lead acid batteries represent a fire and
health hazard. Therefore only charge batteries in well-aerated rooms.
Keep away from sparks and naked flames.
Do not charge any other batteries but lead acid batteries.
Keep the ventilation louvers free at all times.
Connect the unit only to a 230 Volt AC 50 Hz (10/16 A) wall socket.
Do not charge overage, damaged, fully drained or in another way faulty
lead acid batteries.
Make sure the batteries you want to charge is indeed a 12 V battery.
Do not use the unit outdoors.
The unit is not a toy. It does not belong into the hands of children.
Make sure you do not wear conductive jewellery like necklaces, bracelets,
rings or watches.
During longer periods of use the unit can become very hot. Regularly
check the charging state and the condition of all components. If unusual
conditions (Overheating, foaming of the battery) are present, immediately
pull the power plug.
Always disconnect the unit from the power mains while you do not use it
or undertake cleaning or maintenance. When pulling the power plug, do
not pull on the cable, but always grab the plug itself.
Do not disassemble the unit and do not attempt to repair it yourself. It
does not contain parts serviceable by you.
