12 Maintenance and servicing
12.1 General
All maintenance, repair and modification work on the
WR 870
is only to be carried out at a standstill and
with the power supply disconnected or the engine
switched-off. The procedure described in the opera-
ting manual for stopping the machine must be strictly
adhered to.
The
WR 870
is to be checked to ensure it is in a safe
condition and secured to prevent it rolling away.
The safety regulations in chapter 4 apply.
Modification of or changes to the machine is/are only
permitted after consultation with the manufacturer.
Original replacement parts and manufacturer-authori-
sed accessories are provided for safety. The use of
other parts releases the manufacturer from liability
for the consequences thereof.
Note before starting work:

Check for externally visible damage and defects! Immediately report
any changes (including those regarding operating behaviour) to the
responsible service personnel! If necessary, take the machine out of
service immediately!

Check the completeness and functionality of all accessories. Worn
parts, or those whose functionality has been impaired must be
replaced. Replacement parts must be ordered from the manufacturer.

Monitor the completeness and legibility of all type and information
labels as well as the operating manual. Replace missing or illegible
signs and documents.
