It is also recommended that the machine should be connected to the power via a fault current
circuit breaker.
! ! WARNING
When working on the inside of the machine, please ensure that the machine
and electrical equipment are current-free (disconnect power plug or remove
fuse provided by the customer). Protect the machine and equipment against
being switched on again!!
2.4 Refrigerant circuit
Work on the refrigerant circuit may only be carried out by a qualified refrigeration mechanic.
2.5 Fire fighting
In the event of a fire, the machine must be switched off, because otherwise it is possible that
electrical fires cannot be dealt with effectively. At high temperatures, the refrigerant used can
create dangerous decomposition products!
2.6 Lubricants
If it should become necessary to lubricate moving parts of the machine, please use lubricants
approved for the food and beverage industry (e.g. Klüber Lubrication “Polylub WH2” or Interflon
“Fin Lube Tf”).
3. Packaging, storage and transport
3.1 Delivery status
The machine is supplied completely pre-assembled. The corresponding operating fluids (e.g.
refrigerant) are already contained.
3.2 Packaging and transport
After unwrapping the machine, keep the original packaging if possible. If the machine has to be
dispatched (e.g. return for repair), the original packaging should be used if possible. Please
indicate the position of the machine within the packaging on the outside of the packaging.

If the machine has to be dispatched or relocated, please also note the instructions in the
previous sections.
Before packing the machine, please remove the water and the ice completely out of the
machine.
ADVICE:
In order to completely empty the water from the ice production trough, switch the machine to
Position “Produktion aus/off” at the production switch. If ice cubes are present on the evaporator
fingers, please wait until these detach of their own accord and fall into the storage container.
Now remove the ice cubes from the storage container and wipe out the container with a cloth in
order to remove residual moisture. Close off the water supply, pull out the power plug and
separate all hose connections.
