nozzles are frozen over. production time (see Chapter 6.2).
Ice cubes are milky or
misshapen. Production time is too long, injection
nozzles are frozen over. Allow injection nozzles to thaw, reduce
production time (see Chapter 6.2).
Water level too low. Contact specialist dealer or
WESSAMAT service.
Ice maker has too little ice
output. Ventilation is not sufficient. Maintain the specified minimum
distances and ensure optimal air
circulation.
Room / ambient temperature is too
high. Lower the room / ambient temperature,
change the location of the machine if
necessary, replace the air-cooled
machine with a water-cooled machine if
necessary.
Water inlet temperature too high. ensure a cooler water supply.
The fins on the condenser are dirty. Clean the condenser.
Injection nozzles are calcified. Perform cleaning.
Storage bin is overflowing
with ice.. Storage tank thermostat does not
switch off. Check storage tank thermostat.
There is water in the storage
tank. The storage container drain hose is
kinked or blocked. Ensure that the water runs off freely.
The elimination of other malfunctions should only be carried out by a specialist or a service employee of an
authorized WESSAMAT specialist dealer.
8 Disposal
8.1 Disposal instructions
If the machine would be put out of service, please follow the instructions below for disposal:
The refrigerant circuit of the ice cube maker contains R290/R449A and lubricants that
pollutes the water!
The machine must therefore be disposed of properly according to the relevant environmental
protection regulations. Should you have no options for proper disposal, please contact your
specialist dealer or WESSAMAT directly.
