Connect Lockers (continued)
Connect Locker Backs Together (Island Mount Configurations Only)
Important: Procedure is the same for lockers with or without metal base.
Note:
Make sure the locker sides are secured together before attaching them back-to-back.
1. Connect two locker spacer brackets (7) together using a 1/4-20 x 5/8" machine screw (11) and
1/4-20 lock nut (12) as shown.
2. With the lockers in their final location, straddle the
connected brackets to both fit over the sides
of adjacent lockers and to also be centered
between the backs of the lockers.
3. Attach the brackets to the locker
sides using two #10-16 x 3/4"
pan head screws (14).
4. After all lockers are connected, continue to
"Secure to the Structure" on the following pages.
This procedure is for securing the backs of adjacent island mount lockers.
The sides of the lockers must already be connected as described on the previous page.
For standard installations only, see separate seismic instructions if required.
