FIRST AID MEASURES
If Inhaled:
Remove to fresh air. If victim has stopped breathing, give artificial
respiration. Seek medical attention.
In Case of Eye Contact:
Immediately flush eyes with plenty of cool water for 15 minutes. Do not
let victim rub eyes.
In Case of Skin Contact:
Wash affected area thoroughly.
If Swallowed:
Do not induce vomiting. If victim is conscious and able to swallow,
give water to dilute, do not give sodium bicarbonate, fruit juices, or
vinegar. See medical attention.
SECTION 7 - PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFE HANDLING AND USE
Storage and Handling Precautions:
No special precautions necessary.
Waste Disposal Method:
Under RCRA, it is the responsibility to the user of products to determine
at the time of disposal whether product meets RCRA criteria for
hazardous waste. This is because product uses, transformations, mixture,
processes, etc. may render the resulting material hazardous.
Action to Take for Spills or Leaks:
Wear appropriate respiratory protection and protective clothing as
described below. Contain spilled material. Transfer to secured
containers. Collect using absorbent media. In the event of an
uncontrolled release of this material, user should determine if release is
reportable under applicable laws and regulations under RCRA.
SECTION 8 - CONTROL MEASURES
Ventilation:
Normal.
Respiratory Protection:
Respirators should be selected based on the form and concentration of
contaminant in the air and in accordance with OSHA (1910.134).
Eye Protection:
Safety goggles meeting ANSI Z 87.2 Standard.
Protective Clothing:
Impervious gloves when prolonged contact cannot be avoided.
Other Protective Measures:
Wear impervious clothing for the duration of anticipated exposure.
Work/Hygienic Practices:
Employees should exercise reasonable personal cleanliness.
