1. Open handles
fully.
2. Depress wheel
release button
and rotate
wheel to proper
die nest. Allow
wheel to lock
into position
by releasing
button.

Color coded dots match color of terminal and/or splice for quick identifi cation of crimp nest
3. Insert stripped
wire into
connector
and position
assembly in the
tool as shown.
4. Close handles
until the SHURE
STAKE
®
mechanism
cycle has been
completed.
5. Perform several
equally spaced
crimps on each
terminal barrel.

HANDLES ARE NON-INSULATING.
DO NOT CRIMP ON HOT ENERGIZED WIRES
