WMS-100 104193 V2.7 - 14.10.2019
The following descriptions of the washing stages cover all the functions
which can be controlled by the WMS-100 – regardless of whether the
function is actually present in your milking plant.
Functions assigned to fixed relays
+
Function “cold water valve”
(relay K1)
+
Function “warm water valve”
(relay K2)
Parameters [E71 to E76] can be used to determine which water
valves are to be operated, separately for each washing stage.
It is also stipulated by parameter [P10,P20..] whether water is to be
taken in by 'level' or by 'time' [n8].
If, in the event of intake by level, the level is not reached after a preset
time, the washing cycle is interrupted. See fault description.
+
Function “injection pump alkaline”
(relay K3)
+
Function “injection pump acidic”
(relay K4)
,
It is generally possible to decide whether a cleaning cycle is to use
both alkaline and acidic detergents, or only one of them. If only one
detergent is to be used [E35=0], the number of alkaline cleaning
cycles which should pass before an acidic wash takes place can be
set via parameter [E40].
,
Parameter [E43] is used to determine the point at which detergent
is injected during washing stages 3 and 5.
,
Parameters [P71, 72, 74] are used to determine the duration of
detergent injection. It should be pointed out here that 'warm water'
and 'hot water' settings are available for alkaline detergent. The
user decides in the working level which setting is to be used. See
list of parameters.
+
Function “drain valve 1”
(relay K5)
Parameters [E81 to E86] can be used to determine, separately for
each washing stage, whether drain valve 1, drain valve 2 or both
together are opened.
(Drain valve 2 = optionally)
+
Function “vacuum pump”
(relay K6)
rameter [E42] is used to determine when the vacuum pump is to start,
for all washing stages.
+
Function “Heating”
(relay K7)
,
Parameters [P80, P81 and P83] are used to set the temperatures
for the two main washing stages.
,
Parameters [P82 and P84] are used to set the subsequent heating
temperatures. (Subsequent heating is necessary if circulation of
the water causes the water temperature to fall below that pre-
scribed by the detergent manufacturer.)

User tip for “water intake”:
If for example hot water is to
be taken in via a third “valve”,
this can also be defined via
parameters [E71 to E76].
