General
Please read these instructions and observe their contents and
warnings before assemble the equipment!
Intended use
weinor „w17 easy“ glazing elements without thermal separation are
intended to be fitted in conservatories, under patio roofs or other con-
necting passages (e.g. interior area).
Glazing elements may only be used for vertical glazing. The planning
and installation of glazing elements in or around parapets or in areas
requiring anti-fall guards must be performed in accordance with current
regulations and guidelines and are the responsibility of the site foreman.
All supplied profiles and components (especially frame and stave profi-
les) must be fitted without fail. Misuse can lead to hazards and damage
and is not permissible. Changes, additions may only be carried out with
the written permission of weinor. Prohibited changes to the product will
result in voiding of the guarantee claims.
Qualifications
These instructions are addressed to trained fitters and require qualifica-
tion and knowledge of installation techniques:
- Occupational safety at work, operating safety and accident preventi-
on regulations,
- Handling of ladders, scaffolding, tools and machines,
- Transport of long, heavy components and glass panes,
- Estimation of the building structure and fitting the fixing materials,
- Installation, start-up and operation of the product.

Caution! Personal injury can result from incorrect
assembly and operation of the construction!

Follow safety instructions in order to prevent personal injury!

Keep packaging, sheeting and small parts away from children (choking
hazard)!
Ascending aids:
ş
Do not lean ladders against the glazing elements or fix them to the gla-
zing elements!
ş
Ladders must be on a firm base and provide adequate support!
ş
Only use ladders with adequate load-bearing capacity!
Anti-fall guards:
ş
Use appropriate anti-fall guards to prevent the danger of falling especially
when working at considerable heights!
Fixing material:
ş
Use suitable installation and fitting materials (plugs, glue, etc.) correspon-
ding to onsite conditions and loads!
ş
Check that the glazing elements are installed using the dowel extraction
forces recommended by the manufacturer, and the manufacturer’s guide-
lines on dowels are observed when performing the installation work!
Crushing and cutting zones:

Observe moving parts (e.g. leaves) to avoid injury
Dimensionally stable installation:
ş
Comply with the specified system height during installation. The glass
inset must be at least 14 mm in the top guide profile.
ş
Check that the foundations are load bearing, so that the construction‘s
maximum possible tolerances also cannot be exceeded in the long-term.
Caution! Product and/or material damage through
improper transport!

Secure cargo properly and safely!
ş
Protect the packaging from moisture (dampened packaging can loosen
during transport)!
ş
Seal open packaging for further transport!
Note!
For assessment of material defects in the glass, the
„Inspection guidelines for visual assessment of glass“
shall apply.
