The following table summarizes the requirements of the wiring on the PV side. Wires
connected to X1/X4, X2 and the copper busbar shall be made of stranded copper
(preferably PV1–F “solar” wire).
Please check with Weidmüller before using solid or
aluminum wires.

We recommend to use PV cable with higher rated voltage than string voltage of the
application and with a maximum temperature of 120 °C or higher.
For the Transclinic xi+ products with screw connection terminals, we recommend to use
the following devices to tighten the screws.

Connect the negative polarity (in Transclinic 16i+ and in Transclinic 16i+ 1k5 L) and
positive polarity (in Transclinic 16i+ 1k5 H) of the PV inputs to these two terminal
blocks.
It is recommended to evenly distribute the total input current between the two
terminal blocks X1 and X4.
