9�4 Maintenance

Î If you detect any leaks or malfunction, replace the WEH
®
Product or send it to WEH
for maintenance. Stop using the product immediately.
The following maintenance work may be carried out by the operator:
Î Check the WEH
®
Product for leak tightness and correct functioning – ease of move-
ment, sufficant lubrication, wear, contamination and damage.
Î Regularly check the clamping jaws for dirt accumulation. Dirt particles can interfere
with the clamping and sealing function, posing a potential hazard.
Î Check the tightening torque of the grub screw (Pos. 5) at the V-actuation.
Tightening torque 0.5 Nm.

10�1 Safety instructions for lubrication
Î Take care not to damage sealing surfaces or sealing components when lubricating.

Only use WEH
®
Maintenance spraypart no. E99-44923 for lubrication.
10�2 Lubrication
Î Apply a short burst of spray with the aiming tube to the
actuator peg (Pos. 3) ( Figure 15 ).
Attention: The lubricant must not be allowed to enter the
gas channel.
