VIDEO VERTICAL BLANKING DATA

VBI Data Pass-thru

When using 4:2:2 chroma sampling, compression is supported
down to lines 10 (NTSC) and 7 (PAL) on each composite
video field.

VBI Data Re-insertion

• EIA-608 Line 21 data for both fields (CC & XDS) per

ATSC (Annex A, A/53B). Also compatible with Harmonic
and Tandberg proprietary protocols;

• Type I and II Nielsen AMOL compatible with Tandberg

proprietary protocols.

VBI Data Re-insertion Control

Wegener COMPEL control may enable/disable any or all of
the above re-inserted VBI lines

32, 44.1, and 48 kHz. Both Audio port 1 and port 2 must be
assigned audio streams with same sample rate. If one is
SMPTE302M audio, this rate is fixed at 48 kHz per above.
