NOTE
If two parallel handles will be
connected, the connection in the
pins must be made according to the
drawing below:
Figure 5-20 - Terminal connection
NOTE
If motor supply cables will be
equipped with Raychem termination
system, the customer should inform
the distance needed between the
terminal box entrance and the motor
terminals.
5.2.3. ROTATION DIRECTION
If the power supply cables are connected in the
phase sequence L1, L2, L3 with U1, V1, W1 or T1,
T2 and T3, motor will turn clockwise (CW) viewed
from drive end (DE) side. If two connections are
reversed, that is, if the power supply with the same
sequence of phase L1, L2, L3 is connected with V1,
U1, W1 (or U1, W1, V1, or W1, V1, U1), the motor
will turn counter clockwise. The cable metallic
protections (equipotential protection) must be
connected to the grounding which is provided for
such purpose inside the terminal box.
ATTENTION
When customer requires counter
clockwise (CCW) rotation from
factory, the motor will turn CCW
viewed from DE side with phase
sequence L1, L2, L3 with U1, V1,
W1 or T1, T2 and T3.
EX ATMOSPHERE INFORMATION
Motors
designed
for
explosive
atmospheres must be fitted with
suitable terminals and pressure
washers.
EX ATMOSPHERE INFORMATION
Motors equiped with terminal boxes
with protection Ex e are equipped
with clamps to avoid loosening of the
connections in service.
